Medical Student, Tulane University

Blake Stevenson is a medical student at Tulane University.

Mr. Stevenson joined the Microcirculatory Core Laboratory after finishing his first year of medical school. His work is supported by the major interdipartmental Tulane COBRE grant from the National Center for Research Resources (NIH). In a short period, Blake mastered microvascular experimental techniques and was conductinh his experiments in an independent fashion. For his studies, Blake was awarded the SAFMR/SSCI Student Award at the Southern Regional Meeting of the American Federation for Medical Research.
